Our founders, a collective of Sichuan-born architects, hospitality pioneers, and cultural preservationists, were inspired by the quiet elegance of Chengdu’s classical gardens, the warmth of its teahouses, and the intricate artistry of local crafts like Shu embroidery and bamboo weaving. Once home to a series of traditional courtyard residences from the late Qing Dynasty, the location had long been overlooked, its heritage fading beneath the weight of time. But to our team, it was a canvas of possibility.

Over three years, meticulous restoration and thoughtful design transformed the site into a harmonious fusion of old and new. Original brickwork, carved wooden beams, and stone courtyards were preserved and revitalized, standing in elegant contrast to contemporary interiors featuring minimalist lines, handcrafted furnishings, and natural materials. Every design decision—from the placement of a lantern to the curve of a staircase—was made with intention, reflecting the principles of balance, flow, and serenity.
